5T1W,6$6T: Last time I dealt among others with the first Woe, the First World War. It was reported to be part of the fifth trumpet period. However, the nature of the judgment of this trumpet was a mere spiritual plague. Therefore, it should be understood that the woe of the fifth trumpet was also part of the sixth trumpet.
The sixth trumpet can be called the killing plague for the Jewish people. The judgment of this trumpet was carried out after the last revivals of the Philadelphian church age had died out, sometime after 1906 (6i§6(8)10, 1-7$), so in 1914:
6T1W: From the Euphrates river are found four killing angels, which let the First World War start in the year 1914, (and of which was spoken in the seventh chapter of the Book of Revelation, Rev. 7:1-3, 7c§67₁14,) Rev. 9:13 – 15(-21), <And the sixth angel sounded {his} trumpet: and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which {is} before God, 14. saying to the sixth angel that had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound at the great river Euphrates. 15. And the four angels were loosed, who are prepared for the hour and day and month and year, that they might slay the third part of men; ….>
The holiness revival of Philadelphia had been enormous and mighty. Therefore, it took its own time before this revival of brotherly love had been extinguished everywhere. But in 1914, it had gone out because the gifts of the Holy Spirit had been rejected. As the Lord Jesus had announced: power was little (1b§1-3, Rev. 3:7-13, especially verse 8).
¤ At one time God had promised to the Israelites up to the Euphrates as their territory. Now the restoration of that promise is connected to a fulfilling of the challenge of this trumpet (cf. Jos. 1:4).
On the other hand, as regards the bowls, there has to be remembered, that they are plagues for the so called Christians (8c§89₁156).
6B,4S: The plague of the sixth bowl was carried out at the same time, Rev. 16:12(-16), <And the sixth poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates; and its water was dried up, that the way of the kings from the rising of the sun might be prepared. ….>
As the stream dried up, nothing has prevented the Jewish people in Israel and the land of Israel from being harassed in the first place by political powers from the direction of the sunrise, from the north and the east, as it has been seen many times since 1914 until this day. In addition, under the plague of the sixth bowl three unclean frog spirits appeared, which I dealt with under the fourth seal. These are misleading and gathering many remaining peoples and their rulers into the final Armageddon battle (6k§6(8)10, Rev. 16:13-16).
¤ The prophet Zechariah had prophesied that there would come a time, in which all the nations of the world will attack Jerusalem and Israel {Zec. 12:1-3 (also 7d§67₁14)}.
For states with a Christian history, this attack is a fatal mistake. Just as God held the Jewish people responsible for rejecting Jesus Christ, when He had come the first time as servant. Nowadays, soon He is coming as the King of kings and the Lord of lords, and for the next thousand years He will reign from the (new) Temple Mount near Jerusalem in the midst of the people of Israel {Acts 1:6-7; Rev. (19:1-) 20:4 (-6)}.
¤ After being attacked Israel conquered e.g. East Jerusalem (and the temple mountain) during the Six-Day War in 1967. Then almost every nation, including the Christian ones, dictated Israel as the occupier of them. Regrettably, it was a rejecting of Israel’s rights, by what the days of our Christian civilization were numbered for God (=, 3e§12, 16_Letter to newspapers: A Crucifying, Now of Israel), Luke 21:24b, <“…. Jerusalem will be trodden down by {the} (Gentile) nations until {the} times of {the} (Gentile) nations are fulfilled.”>
With this chain of events, one more new sign of our time can be remarked (cf. 0c_SumEx, Mat. 16:2-4).

¤ Communism is God's tool in this end time. God will use Russia, China and eight other dictator nations, the ten horns of the beast, to do His will, to destroy the prostitute Babylon the Great in one hour {7e§67₁14, Rev. 17:12, etc.; Rev. 17:16 (9l§89₁156)}.
Babylon the Great has represented the Roman Catholic Church and states since the beginning. In addition to that came the churches and states of the Reformation, and at the end will come the other Protestant churches and states {4abc§1317, Rev. 17:5 / 17:(1-)7)}.
¤ At the end of the greater tribulation period the dictatorships will be the only remaining world powers. Next, they will be disciplined by God {ten horns, ten toes, Dan. 2:(19-)42 – 45, also 4a§1317}, Rev. 17:13-14, <These have one mind, and give their power and authority to the beast. 14. These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them; for he is Lord of lords and King of kings: and they {that are} with him called, and chosen, and faithful.>
The First World War was needed to transform Russia into a communist state. The war against Germany caused great military losses and as a result the army had begun to revolt. After that, the Bolsheviks and other socialist groups carried out the 1917-revolution. Then the hour-long political period/reign of the ten dictators under the leadership of the king of the north, Russia, began (Dan. 11:40).
