^ Revelation 12 and the word of the year-weeks in the book of Daniel can be explained in many ways. However, an explanation must be found that is consistent with the entire Bible (2Pet. 1:20-21).

¤ The prophesy of the seventy year-weeks concerns the people of Daniel and Jerusalem (3d§12, Dan. 9:24):
1) ‘To finish transgression’. Crucifying Jesus Christ, demanded by the Jewish people, is forgotten (Micah 7:18-20).
2) ‘And to make an end of sins’. On the cross, Jesus Christ atoned for the sins of the whole world, including the sins of the Israelites (1John 2:2).
3) ‘And to make reconciliation for iniquity’. In one day the whole nation will be born {Isa. 66:8 (7d§67₁14)}.
4) ‘And to bring in everlasting righteousness.’ The devil is captured, and the millennial sabbat time begins (Rev. 20:1-2), Hab. 2:14, <For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.>

5) ‘And to seal up vision and prophet’. In the end-time, vision and prophet (!) will be understood (Dan. 12:8-10).
¤ The establishment of the State of Israel in 1948 was an important step {Mat. 24:32-35 and Luke 21:29-33 (3b§12)}.
Next the recapture of Jerusalem took place, in 1967, within one generation (Luke 21:32).
¤ It confirmed: ≤1967 the times of the Gentiles and the Christian churches were fulfilled {Luke 21:24b (9k§89₁156)}.
Finally, those Christians who have served faithfully and wisely will be taken into heaven (Mat. 24:36-51 – 25:13).
¤ At that time the great angel/prince Michael will rise up and the greater tribulation time will begin {0b_SumBR, Dan. 12:1(-3); Rev. 12:7-12a}.
The question is asked, when will the shattering of the hand/power of the holy people end? And among others is answered, {It will be for} a time, and times, and half {a time} {Dan. 12:(4-)6-7}.
¤ The same compound statement can be found in book Revelation (3c§12, Rev. 12:14).
At the previous page it was found that a logical connection to it is possible. The ministering period of Jesus Christ would have been a half year-week after 7 + 62 year-weeks. Taken together, it is 7 + 62 + ½ [time + times + half a time] = 69½ year-weeks. That would be God's own confirmation of this explanation!
