And he will be tormented in fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. 11. And the smoke of their torment rises forever and ever. Day and night there is no rest for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.” 12. Here is a call for the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. 13. And I heard a voice from heaven telling me to write, “Blessed {are} the dead—those who die in the Lord from this moment on.” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labors, for their deeds will follow them.”>
All this will be fulfilled during the greater tribulation time according to the sixth seal. The message and purpose of this seal is purification, the purification of the sleeping virgins, of the people of Israel, and of the earth (7Seal#387-390).
1-3W: The world has already experienced two world war woe-cries. But everyone who has watched the world situation of today, knows in his/her heart, that the third one is coming and will be terrible.
However, after the Third World War, i.e. after the last great waves of contractions of the third woe-cry, at the end of the greater tribulation time, the babies are born. As it has been foretold (3e§12, =), Isa. 66:8, <Who has heard such as this? who has seen anything like these? Can earth / a land be made to bring forth in one day? shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as she travailed, Zion also has borne her sons.>
¤ First, the 144,000 notice the wounds on their Messiah's, Jesus Christ’s, chest (Zec. 13:6).
After accepting Him in faith as Saviour and Leader of their lives, fearless they go all over the world to evangelize. They are messianic Israelis, who keep ‘the commandments of God’ and hold to ‘the faith of Jesus’ and who are terribly persecuted (also 3f§12, Rev. 12:12b---17).
¤ When during the greater tribulation time the mark of the beast appears, the 144,000 will preach with both their actions and words that one must not worship ‘the beast and its image’, and must not take ‘its mark’ on one's forehead or hand, because later in front of God's judgment throne one will end up directly into the lake of fire (cf. Rev. 20:11-15).
They are the firstfruit of the people of Israel (Rev. 14:4c).
¤ Verse Zec. 13:7 Jesus had referred to, when He was taken prisoner (Mat. 26:31).
Next, Zechariah had predicted that two-thirds of the Jewish people will be cut off and perish, but a third part will be left {3b§12, Zec. 13:(6-) 8 (-9)}.
¤ For two thousand years it has been refined and tested like silver and gold (Zec. 13:9a).
In the end, the remaining part would stand against an impossibly large superiority. In that moment, as one people, it cries out Jesus’ name for help, and He answers and says to it (7b§67₁14, Zec. 14:3-5 and 10-11), Zec. 13:9c, <“…. ‘It {is} My people,’ and it says, ‘The LORD {is} my God.’ ”>

¤ God uses the conflict between the Jews and the Palestinians around the city of Jerusalem as a cup of drunkenness to all nations. Therefore, at the end of the greater tribulation time period, the vast majority of the nations will be involved in besieging Jerusalem and Israel (Zec. 12:1-3 and especially 2).
Jerusalem will be captured, Zec. 14:1-2a, <Behold, a day of the LORD is coming when your plunder will be divided in your presence. 2. For I will gather all the nations for battle against Jerusalem, and the city will be captured, the houses looted, and the women ravished. Half of the city will go into exile,>
3W: Too, the (former) Christian states will be involved in this battle of Armageddon, until the Third World War / third woe-cry will suddenly break out and they will be destroyed {9l§89₁156 (Zec. 14:1-2a)}.
At that moment the people of Israel realizes that they are completely alone with vengeful dictator states and that all hope is gone. Then, as one people, they are ready to call upon God. One after another is baptized by the fire baptism of the Holy Spirit, and at the same time the earth is purified by atomic bombs (Lev. 16:28-34; Mat. 3:11b-12).
¤ At the end of this process, Jesus’ answer becomes visible, Zechariah's text continues, Zec. 14:2b-4a, <but the rest of the people will not be removed from the city. 3. Then the LORD will go out to fight against those nations, as He fights in the day of battle. 4. On that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem,>
On a white horse, the Lord Jesus Christ with the armies of heaven will appear. The beast and the false prophet are thrown alive into the lake of fire and the other attackers are killed (Rev. 19:11-21).
¤ Next, in His Thousand-year Kingdom, the Lord Jesus will reign with His Bride people (2c§45, Rev. 20:4-6, and 3b§12, 1Pet. 2:9-10).
However, all nations will be ruled with an iron scepter (Zec. 14:16-19 and Rev. 12:5).
