^ The second beast in Revelation 13 would be the United States. All kinds of confirmations were found with the previous verses. Now the review is continued with the remaining verses.

¤ Rev. 13:16-18, <And it [the second beast] required all people small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark/engraving on their right hand or on their forehead, 17. so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark/engraving: the name of the beast or the number of its name. 18. Here is a call for wisdom: Let the one who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and that number is 666.>
What would be the ENGRAVED MARK of the beast? And why would the United States adopt it?
¤ This text speaks of marking the entire U.S. population and possibly many other populations with a monetary mark.
Why is it happening and how could that turmoil be triggered?

¤ After World War II, the US dollar became the world's dominant global currency after remaining the only gold-backed currency.
Then in the 60s, the United States sold a lot of its gold assets.
¤ Still, the dominance of the dollar continued. But the country’s debt rate has increased dramatically. This development and major events since 1929 can be found in the list,
The total debt of the US by the end of 2023 was 34.001 * 1012 dollars, or 122 percent of its Gross Domestic Product.
¤ It also says that according to the World Bank, long-term debt of more than 77% of GDP slows economic growth.
Thus, the collapse of the U.S. economic system for some unforeseen reason is no longer mere speculation. At the same time, it would affect global trade and cripple world’s business. In that time a payer of the debts is sought. And the text in question states that he will be found. Next, everyone will be helped to take his mark. But God has also warned that that solution involves idolatry, what He does not allow. Because of that, at the end you will be sent straight to hell {Rev. 14:11 (7d§67₁14)}!

¤ Who would be this payer, what would be the NAME OF THE BEAST? On the previous pages it has already been indicated that Rome, and particularly the Rome of the popes, is still the sixth head of the first beast. As long as the second beast has not yet become the seventh head of the beast (e.g. 4b§1317).
When that huge monetary crisis arises, the papal Rome could provide a revolutionary solution. With its richness the debts of the dollar and of the paper money of many other Western countries would be paid off, just as all Western countries depend a lot on each other. However, anyone who subsequently wishes to use this renewed money will have to accept the NAME OF THE BEAST or the NUMBER OF THE NAME OF THE BEAST either on his forehead or on his hand.
¤ Does this idea match all the details? The NUMBER (OF THE NAME) OF THE BEAST would be the NUMBER OF A MAN, just as the first beast and the pope represent the same thing. And its number would be 666 (Rev. 13:18).
In practice, the number 666 can be found in the names of many people. But in this end-time there is only one who has been a representative of the Christian Church that has governed the world in more than a thousand years, the pope. A direct reference to the name of the popes can be found in the title of the popes ‘VICARIUS FILII DEI’, which is the language of ancient Rome. It means ‘Deputy of the Son of God’. It is an incredible title. Instead of the Lord Jesus, a man should be worshiped.
¤ The name is used in the form of ‘Vicar of Christ’ as one of the qualities of the pope. Read, for example, what the Roman Catholic magazine teaches,
The pope is / would be the Vicar of Christ, the Deputy of Christ.
¤ When you sum the Latin letters of the VICARIUS FILII DEI name, the result is 666.
Latin letter values are V = 5, i = 1, C = 100, D = 500, and L = 50. Letters without a numeric value (a, r, f, s, and e) are counted as zero. Thus 5 + 1 + 100 + 1 + 5 + 1 + 50 + 1 + 1 + 500 + 1 = 666.
