Boek Openbaring §19,20,21,22, Gods Koninkrijk: Een Eeuwige Toekomst

Shalom!
^ Every Christian should pray for the Jews and Israel. It is according to God's plan (Rm. 11:11-12).
In that way, both they and we are blessed with the blessing of father Abraham (Gen. 12:3 and Acts 3:25).
Prayer for the Jewish people and the land of Israel, Bert

¤ A great plan had been prepared for the people of the twelve tribes. It gave already birth to the Saviour of mankind, what has been a great sign for the whole world (3a§12, Rev. 12:1, 2 and 5).
But, God's second goal, the becoming of His personal bride, did not (yet) succeed. God even separated from His people and has sought a new bride throughout the world (3b§12, Mat. 22:1-14).
¤ When the people of Israel had become a nation and had left the land of Egypt, God had given the tribe of Levi the task of taking care of the Tabernacle and all its affairs (Numb. 1).
At the same time, God had divided the tribes into five parts. In the center the tribe of Levi. On the east side the front tribes of Judah, Issachar and Zebulon. On the south side, the tribes of Reuben, Simeon and Gad. On the west side, the tribes of Ephraim, Manasseh, and Benjamin. And on the north side the tribes of Dan, Asser, and Naphtali (Numb. 2).
¤ The number of each tribe had to be counted, but not of the tribe of Levi. To the others were given parts of the land, but the inheritance of the tribe of Levi was the Lord, the God of Israel {Jos. 13:(1-)33}.
Therefore, a thirteenth tribe had been needed, obtained through the sons of Joseph, Ephraim and Manasseh (Gen. 48).
